About this Project

Never in history has mankind had such access to knowledge; the options are overwhelming. If you dig deeper however, you find that that infinite choices are in fact much narrower than they appear. Why is this?

If catalogues are endless and discovery exponential, why do we gravitate to more of the same? Is this indeed a problem or just perception? How do the best acts, bands, composers, and musicians get discovered? Is it algorithmic? Word of mouth? Persistence and pluck? Or just plain dumb luck?

If humans apply wisdom to AI, great things can happen. This project is a sketch pad for ideas and curated discussion about curation and music discovery. It is an automated effort in litmus testing phase as needs and interest determine further exploration. Any shout-outs or product placement will be disclosed as such, otherwise you can consider all outbound links as non-paid, automated, or simply a recommendation. Audiophile posts will be restricted to what's practical for most listeners interested in music discovery and reasonable curation. It's about the end goal, not the tech.
